Wii Fit Diet, Day 15

Day 15! Yay!

Weight: 229.9

BMI: 32.92

Wii Fit Age: 24 (no agility test. Not sure why this happened.)

Difference from two days ago: -1.1 lbs

Pound difference from starting weight: -8.9 lbs (over 20 days)

Peach left a comment with a pretty cool tip today! I did not know this:

Hey did you know in that free step, you can completely turn off the sound and step as fast or slow as you like, in any way, front or back, sideways, and it will still record your steps…so your goal maybe 800 steps, I was able to do over a 1,000 in 10 minutes. I find it boring listening to the sound, when I know I can move faster and in different directions…give that a try.

So I’ll try that tomorrow probably. 🙂 I wasn’t able to exercise yesterday because my husband and I were out looking at apartments. Luckily we found one that we liked, so we don’t have to look anymore. Now we’re just looking for some one to live in our apartment. So I can exercise… for now. Next week we’re going to vegas for four days and then we’ll be moving, so we’ll see what happens then. Heh.

Anyway, good workout today! I almost died while doing Super Hula Hoop today. I was working at it really hard. My husband was impressed… before he saw me exercise doing that, he suggested that I go outside and run too, because he didn’t think Wii Fit worked me hard enough to burn enough calories. But he thinks differently now! Lots of fun! Same workout as two days ago, which I think is working fantastically for me! I can’t believe I’ve lost almost 9 lbs now! That’s CRAZY! Woohoo!

Good luck everyone else!

  1. This is SUPER encouraging! I just got a Wii Fit a couple of weeks ago and, admittedly, have been less than religious about it. I started working the “Free Step” HARD the other day (did an hour yesterday) and found that, if you do exaggerated arm movements, you break a good sweat AND your heart rate skyrockets! Not to mention it’s addicting – two 30-minute sessions yesterday has left my glutes and thighs super tired today, but I’m at it again!

  2. It’s fantastic that you’re using the Wii Fit as such an excellent tool! Counting calories is most definitely helping in the weight loss process, and you should absolutely keep that up (although eating hamburger helper is a HORRIBLE sodium choice young lady!!). I’ve had a Wii Fit for a couple weeks now, and I’m completely addicted to it. My muscles hurt, and I can definitely tell it is helping me. My problems is I fell of the counting calorie wagon, so my weight isn’t moving like it should be. I just wanted to give you some encouragement to keep it up, especially the calorie counting – I lost 45 pounds doing calorie counting, and the moment I gave it up, I gained 10 pounds back! So, I’m going back to the gym AND doing Wii Fit for nearly an hour a day 🙂 I’m completely in love with my little balance board 🙂

Congrats on the weight loss so far. Update soon!
