Wii Fit Diet, Day 5

Alright! Day 5 and still going strong… my arms and shoulders are really sore today from the rhythm boxing game yesterday though. I must be more out of shape than I thought. 😉

I really love this game though! I’m so glad I have something that I can do at home with the minimal space that we have here. Our apartment is really tiny, so we don’t have space for an exercise bike. Especially with all the baby stuff we have strewn about. Hehe. Anyway, here are today’s stats:

Weight: 237.0 lbs

BMI: 33.93

Wii Fit Age: 21

Hmm… exactly the same as yesterday. 🙂 That’s just fine with me… as long as I don’t gain weight, I’m quite happy.

Today I did a full 60 minutes of cardio. I had unlocked the 6 minute Super Hula Hoop game yesterday, so I played that once… I almost died. I can tell my waist is going to be sore tomorrow. I think the problem is that I’ve never been able to really hula hoop correctly, so I’m probably doing it wrong and putting more effort into it than it needs. Not that it matters… It burns more calories, I suppose.

I didn’t play rhythm boxing today. My arms are too sore, and I’m not very good at it anyway.

I did run around the Island again today again (11 minutes) and unlocked Free Run, where you can run while you’re watching TV. I didn’t do that at all because I’d much rather do Free Step than run in place and hurt my calves. So I watched X-Men while I Free Stepped for 30 minutes. I also did Advanced Step several times and Basic Step once, and was labeled a “Calorie Incinerator” for both, so I’m getting better at stepping on the rhythm, I guess. 🙂

I also did one yoga pose and one strength exercise, so overall I got 64 minutes (or “Fit Credits” as Wii Fit calls them). I’m very proud of myself.

Well anyway, it’s time for me to eat dinner! So good night, and good luck.

  1. this is an awesome post. Really it is…. The Wii can be fun and it can be a workout at the same time. I really want to get one instead of just always playing my 360. You have the right idea though. Make working out fun. Thats what I do but not in the same way. I simply find joy in listening to new music and running and lifting weights to it.

Anyways keep up the good work and don’t fall for those fad diets. They simply don’t work or do anything for you.

    keep getting those “fit credits”.
